[lola and samson]

hi i just had a ?about my yorkies hair i have 2 and my lola has the straight long hair but my samson has more curly type hair and it does not grow after a grooming his hair seems like cotton is there anything i can do to make his hair grow longer i really like the long hair and what type of coat would you call it
