I agree with this too. I didn't know that some people didn't tip owners. The first time I heard people saying it was in a past post here. I think owners deserve tips as much as there employees. My mom owns a business, it's not a hair salon, but I know how expensive rent, electricity, water, products, credit card processing, and equipment costs. I get my hair colored by the owner and tipped her the same, 20%.
