It's certainly not the 'best' food available, as opinions go, but it's not the worst either. The question is: Is it what is best for YOUR dog. What is best for one may not be best for the next. You may find that Eukanuba is what works best for yours, you may find that something else is a better match.

If you want to try to find something that offers her more nutritional value, do your research and then to trial feedings with her and observe the results. (Always remembering to switch her gradually to allow her time to adjust. Swapping over to something different cold turkey can cause serious digestive upset which can lead to bacterial infections.)

dogfoodanalysis.com is a good place to start your research as it has lots of information regarding the ingredients, but it's important to realize that the information and ratings on the site are based solely on the opinions of the site editors, not long term, professional research. So your research for a new food shouldn't stop and end there.

Another site you may want to try is:
Dog Food Review Ratings
It will link you to several sites with information about commerical foods, home cooking, raw feeding, and supplements.

You may also want to try the sticky at the top of this section. It lists some of the more recommended (at least by YT members) brands and some of the companies will send you samples and coupons if you contact them and request them.

Good luck!
