Hi guys! I'm back from San Diego (for 4 days) and missed my dogs soooo much and YT!! I had to share a story about Scout's puppy school class last Monday. For the first time, he was not intimidated by the other dogs (they are all females and all big breed dogs). He was little Romeo, wanting to play with all the girls. Most of them seem to realize he's much smaller than them, except for a boxer, and the Alpha dog of the class-a pointer named Annie. Annie is a beautiful pointer mix puppy about the same age as Scout, but she is very tall, lanky, big, HYPER, and sometimes aggressive. She tried to paw Scout everytime she saw him for the first few weeks. Her owners are very good and have obviously been working with her alot. She's doing great at school. Monday, Scout was driving me crazy wanting to go over to Annie. I was afraid to let him because of how Annie treated him in the past, but I finally let him carefully go to her. She allowed him to come to her (she was in the down position) and even let him lick her neck, and she licked his little ear. Then he layed down between her front paws and wanted to stay there! We were all so amazed!! She actually seemed to enjoy it and so did Scout! Anyway, the boy has got himself a big girlfriend at school already...LOL Can't wait to see what happens next class.
