Hi everyone! I recently moved in with 2 lovely young ladies into a pet friendly community. One of my room mates has a 6 yr old Pom. He has been neutered for a while now, at least I'm assuming so. Today, she went off to a friends and as "usual" (in qoutes because I haven't lived here for very long) he came up to my room to keep me company. I have 2 teddy bears on my bed. He started to play with the smaller one I have. He tossed it around and then did something that made me a bit uncomfortable. He started to hump my little bear
I told him to stop and took the bear away. Is that ok to do? I looked it up here on YT so I know it's "normal" for a neutered dog to hump. But is it ok for him to show...um....just how excited he is?? (can you tell I'm uncomfortable?)
By the way, this is the first time I've ever had a dog in my home, so please excuse my ignorance.
