I was just reading your siggie quote - and it's the "indifference" stuff that still bothers me in this day and age - that there is STILL so much indifference to the plight of animals. I mean, I know we've made progress - but when I hear on Oprah that we're *still* just at the tip of the iceberg, I'm just...a little sad. Just here in AZ, our shelter takes in 60,000 animals a YEAR
...and I wish it was different. Ugh, I think I'm just feeling emotional from seeing the Oprah footage - and wish we were further along. But, I DO need to realize there has been progress.
