I don't understand how this is logical. So dogs, in your estimation, have more rights than cows. So, where are cows on your continuum? Do they have more rights than pigs? Turkeys? Chickens? And then, along the companion animal continuum (of which I'm unaware) - who is highest on the chain there? Dogs? Cats? Ferrets?
What about wild animals? Where do they stand along your continuum? I guess I don't understand how one group of animals has "more rights" than another. Do certain people also have more rights than others too? I guess that's how I view this kind of thinking.
As far as it being "ridiculous" to not eat meat, that's your opinion. Some of us
ridiculous non-meat eaters might disagree with you.
