confinding him will cut down on the exploring
. but puppy proofing is difficult. i have 20/15 vision (very good) but lucky always finds the tiniest little micro piece of something thats deep deep in the carpet. also if i catch him with something he shouldn't have and i start to walk towards him to take it.......... he will gulp it down like water..hehe......... but a few weeks ago i was at a local pet store they showed me a little red rubber chewy thing(no that's not the name) very small has a picture of a yorkie on it. it has a hole in the bottom to put a treat in it. i put a wellness treat it there and he went nuts
.... played with it for hours trying to get the treat out. he did get half out. and the rubber is strong cant be bitten into....and i believe that b/c my boy is teething right now and will chew any and everything..... try your local petstore. i dont care for petco and petsmarts everything is over priced and the food they sell isin't healthy anyway. people are just use to the name and petco does come to mind when you think of pets.... but most of the local pet supply places gives you more choices and better quality. just my opinion.
