My new pup isnt going to be any bigger than my poodle, both parents are 4 pounds ish. I didnt know about nutrical untill this board, where do I find it? I want to have it on hand "just in case" and how often should I offer him food? Do I offer him several small meals a day, like I did with my poodle?
Any other advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance |
I am not sure how many times you have to feed your baby, but nutrical is very good to have on hand. You can find it at petsmart. When I first got my baby, she hardly would eat anything, so i had to feed her some nutrical everyday just to make sure she'll be ok. If your puppy doesn't like to eat, you should leave food down for them all day, so they can have access to it whenever they feel like eating. I really struggled with milu when she was younger because she had no interest in food. She is better now, after I keep experimenting with diff. foods, to find the one that she likes. (she is eating natures variety raw and also their kibbles) I leave kibbles down for her all day, and feed her the raw stuff once in the am and once in the pm. But the feeding schedule depends on the dog's age.
Good luck to you!
