I don't think that you can compare a stove to a dog. You can have exactly the same stove and then paying $200 for one and another person paying $2000 would be crazy. You would never have 2 dogs that are exactly the same. The prices are so different because of different things....one is where you live. Does are a lot more if you live in an area where the cost of living is more. I know people say they got their dog for $200 or $500 and sometimes they looks like a $200 or $500 dog (not always). There are the cases where someone could get a dog for $500 and another person for $5000 and they are just as beautiful, it does happen. Also, I know people don't like to talk about it but smaller ones (and females) are usually a lot more. All I know is that I got exactly what I wanted when I got Teddi and cost was not an issue....I love her and she is priceless to me
