I would say 5 to 5 1/2 lbs but the build also has much to do with it. I had one who was 6 lbs but had a singleton puppy and had to have a c-section. I had her spayed. I would not breed a 4 lber. Even with a larger dog it is a risky proposition and you always need to know you are taking a risk with their life.
