 Leaves...how dangerous are they?
I know sticks are bad for our dogs but what about leaves? Are they really dangerous for them to eat? Is it mainly a concern of scratching their throat or can leaves cause a blockage or other health issues? We have huge oak trees that hang over our deck and yard...right now I can pick up the leaves and acorns as I see them fall but soon we'll be over run with them. I would be a crazy woman if I had to chase these guys around all day pulling leaves from their mouths! How concerned do I really need to be about the leaves? Will they eventually get used to seeing them all over the place and just leave them alone? |
