We have only been training on pads for the three weeks we have had Rocco, but last night my husband asked how to transition Rocco to the yard for potty time. He's almost 6 months old now, how long should we do the pads? I have no idea!! He is the first dog we have ever used piddle pads with and I had never thought about it before. What have you guys done? How do you know when to do it? Last night I saw him sniffing around his pad and took all 3 dogs right out to potty....but he seemed to want to stay and use his pad instead of going outside.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, we have no idea what to do!!

On a funny note, our oldest dogs are apalled he uses the pads! The oldest has even covered up a poo on the pad, it was hilarious!!
