I think we as americans injest way too many animal products. For being such a rich country, you would think we wouldnt be so flooded in health issues. But all that aside, I am not against eating meat or dairy. I believe we should be eating wayyyyyyy less of it, but I don't believe its a sin or a crime. I do find it odd that we are the only living being that deliberately injests another living creatures breastmilk, but yet many people in this country are grossed out by the thought of breastfeeding. I say this as I am nursing my 15 month old, lol.
I believe peta is basically a cult. I don't have an ounce of respect for anyone that believes the rights of an animal comes before an unborn childs right to be born.
