There are some really great outcomes for these babies. This person went throught it all and shared a great story. The operation only cost $2700 too, it's not even that prohibitive - in the scheme of things. So, reading this gave me more insight into what Emma faces. Great story! | I just read and can't wait to "meet" Bombo!!!
How wonderful that the breeder cared for and raised Bombo for the first 4 months of his life before Amy got him..... so many wouldn't have bothered..... I would like to know her, she is an exceptional breeder!!
I really wish sometimes, that we would have waited to have Emma's surgeries done..... heck, we spent over 2700.00 in the first week of her life.... with surgeries that, for the most part, failed....... but then, the soft palate cleft repair did remain in tact following the surgery.... and even now....
I don't know if Emma would have been able to make it through, had that soft palate cleft remained open....... guess there's no way to know......
