Long story about this, they had actually found it 10 years ago and I didn't realize what exactly it was because back then I had three young kids and was just glad I didn't have to have surgery and never was told anything other than we could put in a shunt, then they did a spinal tap and they said I was not a candidate at that time for shunting.
Headaches and some symptoms have worsened over the years so I am not real sure what they are going to do. One neurologist just told me he wouldn't treat me for what he called basal artery migraines due to all my other health issues.
So for now I just take it one day at a time. I have Vasso Depressor syncope too so the meds that would give me would bottom me out on Blood pressure.
So I take a lot of naps during the day and these lil Yorkies are my therapy to get me back up and going.
