Default Perfect Age Gap Between Puppies

I am contemplating getting another yorkie because Canyon is so lonely and suffers from separation anxiety. I think having a little brother just like him to play with while I'm gone would help him. Canyon will be 5 months old on the 28th of this month. I am considering a puppy that will be 12 weeks old the first week of November which would put Canyon at a little over 6 months when pup comes home. The breeder also has a litter due in October, making the puppy ready in January 2009, which would make Canyon 9 months old at that time.

Is there a perfect age gap? I'm thinking the closer in age they are, the better it is as you get the puppy stuff out of the way at the same time.

What do you guys think? What's the age difference of your yorkies if you have more than one and which do you think is easier?
