I posted something on this a while ago, I called it "rituals". I don't know what it is about Yorkies, but they seem to have them..little unexplainable idiosyncrasies that one can't explain. I have a old piece of wood siding that I can't get rid of laying on it's side in the yard against the house. Maya has developed a pattern of walking toward the fence so close to the piece of this siding that her body scrapes the sides of it. She has word a distinct path in the grass following this same little pattern day after day.

I bring my banana plants in in the winter into the garage, they are on the right side of the garage in their pots against the wall. When I would take Mika out front via the garage she REFUSED to go out using the left side (away from the plants), we had to walk past the plants or she was not going out.

I think weird was the right word to use here.
