 nervous pup
I usually take Bella most everywhere we go. Recently when it was hot I had to put her in the cage when we went swimming for the afternoons. I stay at home so she was used to me being there before. Then we went on vacation for a week and she was boarded. She was six months old. She must have thought we weren't returning. Now she is very nervous and cries and barks and tries to escape from the cage. The other day she tried to bite the cage and got her mouth caught on the bars. It was very traumatic. She was stuck for a few minutes. Some how she managed to get out without much blood. Now I am afraid to put her back in it. I think at eight months she can be trusted in one small room like the bathroom for like an hour or two if I can't take her somewhere with me. She has been going everwhere with me lately. I have tried the tv when I leave. She is such a baby. She shakes and gets so scared. Plus she is very noise sensitive and jumps at every small sound. Poor baby. Why is she so nervous? Is it in the breed?
