I have the same problem too. Duke used to jump off the sofa in our last apt when it was sitting in the middle of the room. I put our sofa against the wall now so he can only jump up and down from the seats but it still scares me and nothing seems to help.
He is also an expert at escaping from xpen or anytype of gates as well....
I feel your pain, let's hope they'll be very very careful so they won't hurt themselves since we're trying our best.
