Sorry for the late reply. The doctor prescribed fluconazole - he said it's an antifungal antibiotic. He also said it's dangerous to give to small dogs because it has to be metabolized throught the liver, but that he thought it was a better option than the shampoo for Minnie. He also said that it could just be something that she's prone to...It's confusing because I know that a lot of times conventional medicine treats the symptom rather than the actual problem - I don't want to perptuate it. |
