OMG I'm the same exact way. I highlighted my hair on my own after I quit beauty school and it damaged the front area of my hair so bad I could have cried. You couldn't tell it by just looking but when you felt my hair it was no longer soft, I was almost devastated HAHA. I usually just wash my hair everyday but I wanted my color to last so I was washing it every other day which is better for your hair anyway and it still faded so I'm sure if you wash it every day it will fade in no time.
