Fiona is my first ever yorkie- and boy! let me tell you, she is one smarty pants! Our daily routine consists of my boyfriend getting up anywhere between 6-630am, which causes her to get up, and asks me to take her out. So, I take her out, she does her thing, then I'll bring her back in, get her fresh food, water, and cheerios, and we just hang out until I gotta leave for work at 730am.
Fiona is crate trained- so obviously when we aren't home she is in her crate- which is nice and comfy with 2 fleece blankets and a little bed! (so spoiled)
Well, when I'm all ready to leave, I will get her KONG toy, and start putting her food and cherrios in it, so she has something to eat during the day, well, yesterday, I was re-folding her blanket in the crate, and started loading up her KONG, well, she jumped right in. So, this morning, I was putting in her food in the KONG and she just jumped right in that crate! I swear, she is so smart!!!!
I was very impressed!
So, whoever says yorkies are just stupid small dogs, I will have to def. stick up for them now!
