i think housetraining depends on the dog...... toby has been trained since six months (lol.... tough love applied) and i know other people are still having trouble with 3 year olds

cons... there are a few, like the coat care (thankfully tobys hair doesnt mat, i dunno why
) they have great little personalities. I didnt realize that yorkies were SO ATTACHED to their humans it was a little terrifying to walk out of the house and here screams coming from the animal no biiger than youre foot
i dont have problems in the grooming department but like any other dog some dont like to be brushed or have their nails clipped ect... i have never heard of so many medical problems before in my life (i have owned golden retrievers my whole life and decided on a yorkie because i became allergic ) so you really have to RESEARCH. i dunno i am nuetral. Yorkies are great, goldens are great. I am just a dog person, give me a dog and ill be happy
