At my new home, one of my room mates has a Pom named Danger and we have no troubles with him walking out the door (at least none that I've seen so far). He'll follow you out but if you tell him, he'll walk right back in. I've heard my room mate tell Danger in the morning "Sorry pumpkin, you have to stay home today while I'm at school. I'll see you when I get back" Ha ha she thinks I'm sleeping.
Two seconds later, Danger will be sitting by my bed waiting for me to pick him up and put him on the bed. I hope my future furbaby is as good with boundaries as yours are!!!!
