My twin daughters have a little male who is two weeks younger and from a different litter and like I said I do not want to breed them. Would it be wiser to get him neutered first or her, or maybe both at the same time? Thanks for your input!! |
Normally, puppies should be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. From what I know, they can began getting their first period between 7-9mths old- Fiona will be 6 months next monday, and the vet told me to get her spayed end of October. I don't entend on breeding her either, and I will have her spayed very soon. Neutering is much simplier than spaying- I would probably tell you to get her spayed first, just because it's a little bit more recovery time than males. I hope this info helped ya out!
