Yorkie is pregnant

We have a male and female yorkie that love spending time together, so I assumed that it would be ok for them to be together until she stopped bleeding, but it turns out that I didn't seperate them soon enough. Really stupid mistake. Chewy (the female) wieghs 8 pounds, but the male, Skyler is 10 pounds, what can expect, is this too big of a difference? Is it going be complicated? How big can I expect the litter to be? We can't afford an xray so I don't know what I am going to do, the vet has confirmed that she is pregnant though, he did a full physical on her, but he didn't really completely answer my questions. I am really scared for chewy, I don't want her to die. I couldn't imagine life without her. I also need some info on birthing puppies and how to help chewy before and after the birth. I guess I need preparing advice. Thanks so much.
