My little female Dixie who was born on April 12 is now five months and one week old. She is somewhere between five and a half pds and six now. I know she should be coming in heat soon. I do not intend to breed her. About when is the normal time for yorkie females to come into heat? Should I let her go thru one heat cycle and then get her spayed or would now be the right time? So far I do not see any signs that she is in heat or coming into heat. My twin daughters have a little male who is two weeks younger and from a different litter and like I said I do not want to breed them. Would it be wiser to get him neutered first or her, or maybe both at the same time? Thanks for your input!!
