The myth that high protein is bad for Yorkies is just that - a myth. Some members here feed raw which is almost entirely protein! It's perfectly fine for them as long as they are not liver compromised. Obviously if they have a shunt or are at risk, high protein is not the way to go but otherwise, I think it's a great choice. Some dogs can't handle it though (like the above poster said) and they may get sick. It's all about what works for you! |
