From a dog speak point of view she alway had it.
Dogs with long tails have a hard time understanding dock tailed dogs when they meet and the other way around if they are not soicalized well with tailed and not tailed dogs when young.
If you live with it I sure she rather have it as it is a risk always to put a dog under to do a surgry.... plus the risk of complications that can happen as well.
