Otis get terrible hardened clumps. He hates to have me mess with his eyes. I have had to cut them out before, they are that hard. I'm trying to stay up on it with warm wash cloth. I've also tried vasoline before to soften and pull them out. He had bad allergies and is on medicine. I've also changed him over 3 weeks ago to wellness whitefish and sweet potatoe. Hopefully this helps. I do keep his hair short. Good Luck, I think it's just something we'll have to really keep up on.
