I just tell her what width and length I need it and she makes it for me.
I then use a thick pad on the belly band to absorb moisture and just change the pad when it gets wet. It works great. The pad is scented as well so they stay smelling nice. The pads I get for them are StayFree Maxi Deodorant, 18 anti lock channels. They smell nice and are thick so they absorb a lot and stay dry.
