My hubby just bought one and installed it in the garden without telling me (it was my brother in law who noticed and asked about it when over yesterday so hubby had to tell me!). I'm not sure how I feel about it. It doesn't hurt the dog (as far as I know) but just deters them from barking too much.
What d'you rerckon? Does it stay?

Actually, some humans CAN hear them. I can

Not loudly, but I can hear a faint sound. My dad has one because he needs to go into peoples' yards with his job (reading electrical meters) and it deters dogs.
I think it's definitely more humane than something like shock collars, so if it works for you, keep it!
