my breeder has continually said that it is really cruel to put a female smaller than 5 lbs through a pregnancy much less labor and whelp....also with the structure...at 16 weeks of you cant see her hips on either side of your hand then she would probably be at a higher risk of not whelping naturally anyways.....my breeder had a female a few years ago that she kept out of a litter because she was the perfect example of what you want to carry on in the breed....well low and behold the little stinker stop growing at 6 months and to this day only weighs 2.7 lbs.....so no showing....no breeding ....and no spaying....cause of her wieght and heart murmor....he wont even put her all the way asleep to clean her teeth...just gets her calm.....she is a beauty ....but way too small.....IMO....just love that cute little thing.....
