Keep trying, took me almost 5 months to get my Liv to keep her topknot in. When she pulls it out, put it right back in. Also, try it when she's sleepy so she'll hopefully be to tired to mess with it. Maybe put it in an hour before bedtime every night. Good luck, dont give up!! I promise, you WILL get it soon
