Well, that's something I've never heard before.....shinier, huh? I'll have to check that out. From what I understand, when you get close to the quick, you will see a tiny black(?)or is it white(?) dot on the tip of the nail...I'm pretty certain it's black. I just ordered the peticure and have high hopes of it making trimming my babies' nails possible for me. I've been taking them in to have them done (free of charge

), but with 4 yorkies it's just to often and they don't seem to take enough off.
