help my yorkie has diarrhea! i'm not sure what to do.

i recently started taking my 4 month old puppy out for walks around my neighborhood. everytime i take him out for a walk, he would always eat and sniff everything thats lying around on the ground. i think i even caught him eat an earthworm! whether it's leaves, bark, dirt or paper, he puts it in his mouth.

do you all think this can cause him to get diarrhea? how can i train him not to eat what's lying on the ground when i take him out for walks?

PLEASE HELP! I'M A WORRIED DAD!
