Honestly if it were me - I'd just have them do a cleaning - they can become harder to clean if your seeing signs of this already - it's not that much money and it's better for them to have it done when they need it rather than waiting - it can lead to other problems.... and think of his cute yorkie breath once he has nice sparkly teeth....
