Hey Fellow Canadian

A truly good breeder will not breed a dog with LP. However, Layla came from a great breeder.. neither parent had LP.. and Layla has stage 2... while it can be genetic... it is also something that this breed is prone to and can happen just from jumping off the couch.... I think that is why breeders are hesitant to put it in the health contract because it can happen just from running....
