Thankfully I'm in the UK and we don't get brown recluse spiders here, it's an oridinary house spider...
There is no way I'm getting close enough to that with a fly swatter! Gosh! What happens when I hit it and it's not dead and then attacks me, or worse yet takes Amelia or one of the dogs in revenge?
