Animal Smiley 049 Wanted: Yorkie for disabled female in RI

Hi,
I am new to this forum, I just got approved this morning!
I have been looking for over a year and I have been looking for a little yorkie.

I am disabled. I have Crohn's disease, which is inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract (GI). You can go to ccfa.org for more info on the illness.

Needless to say, it is a debilitating illness for some. Some people who have it can live normal lives. I just spent 50 days in the hospital and recently had abdominal surgery.

Anywho, since I am home all of the time, I would like a mini-companion, such as a Yorkie!!! I have been doing tons and tons of research and found that these dogs would suit my needs and be the loving companions that I need.

Unfortunately, since I am on disability (I am 24-years-old), I can't afford the prices of these precious animals. I have tried looking for groups that donate Yorkies to the disabled, but I didn't find anything.

I was wondering if there is a breeder or a rescue or anything out there that is willing to give a young (well not too young, lol) female a Yorkie for free (preferably) or next to nothing. I am willing to pick it up if it is in the New England area.

I will be FOREVER grateful if someone could help me out.

Remember, your puppy or dog will be treated as if they were my own child. I will give it all the love, care, respect and guidance that it needs.
I will be there for the Yorkie, no matter what!

This would be a dream come true for me. I don't like asking for charity, but I figured that there are lots of Yorkies out there; maybe someone can do a good deed for me. It would make you feel great and it would be an awesome 'pick me up' for me.

Now, I am sure you are wondering how the vet bills, food, toys, etc., will be paid for: I have a great family friend (who is a vet) , who has agreed to do everything I need for free (I just need to find a doggie first, Lol!).

So, please, if you can help me or know someone who can please email me back at Keritanzi@gmail.com

I hope you can find it in your heart to help me out!
Thanks,
Keri
