Actually, since Zaccheus has a cleft palate and anything he chews ends up in it, we purposely give him tiny kibble so he will swallow it whole. He digests it without any problem. Your baby is getting all the nutrition she needs if she's eating the food. The body breaks it down, even if the teeth don't.
