Hi my yorkie, Gidget has been diagnosed with necrotizing encephalitis, from reading about other stories on here, I did get a copy of Dr. Sisson's protocol and gave it to my neurologist who is now putting Gidget on the treatment. I was wondering though how fast your Brooke reacted and how soon you saw improvement. Gidget will start her first chemo treatment early next week and is on 5mg of Prednisone daily. She weighs 4 lbs. so they started her on 1mg every 12 hours and then worked it up to 5mg. It seems like at times she is walking better but then other times not. I don't know if I am just being inpatient and hoping to see progress quicker or not. good news is she hasn't had any seizures and we caught it early although she is blind but over the last couple of days she can now see just a little bit out of one eye. anyway anything you can tell about Brooke would be helpful so I know what to expect. Thanks, Lee Ann
