Thank you! I didn't know about the shiny and dull part of the nail...I am going to have to check that out. I was told, by my vet, to cut off the curve part of the nail. I am so nervous cutting their nails. I am so worried I am going to cut the quick. I'm sure they sense this and this could be why they squirm when I cut them.
