We got a feral kitten and tried to make it a house cat but it didn't work. Our Callie is 11 now and comes home to eat everyday.
Our other cat got out after three years in the house and didn't come around for two months now he comes home to eat only too. He is 9 years old.
I don't have the best of luck with cats staying indoors.
