Hi, I posted a few days ago wanting a healthy and tasty dry dog food for my 11 week old yorkie. I ended up getting Natural Balance Potato & Duck Allergy Formula. They make a puppy one now with small kibble.
When I got it home, Emma would not eat it (that's 3 dif. foods now). I had also purchased the Kong filling (chicken liver) and decided to add a tiny amount to the dry and kind of mix it together so the kibble has some of the stuff on it.
She seemed to like that at first, but is now getting finicky again.
First of all, is it ok to use a tiny bit of the Kong chicken liver filling? And secondly, what else (short of we dog food) can I sprinkle on/mix in her food to entice her?
I think the allergy formula is a good thing for her as she is itching less. (I did have her groomed and she's been itchy from that----it was a nightmare--she got a butcher job---anyway, she won't be going back to that groomer and from what I've read here, oatmeal shampoo would probably make her itch less.
All of you have been so helpful so far, please give me some healthy suggestions of what to do to her food.
