Suzi is nearly 7 months old, and her true colors came out last night
She is A stinker when it comes to trying to groom her. She was awful !
I decided to do this on my own.... I now see that it is not easy . suzi freaked out, and would not hold still at all. Are all Yorkie's hard to groom? Or is it her ?
I was careful, and gentle as much as I could, she still went nuts. Suzi had a mat on the top of her head that was bad, I had to get it out, and she was going to let me.... I had to take it out with scissors, it was bad. She was in no pain, or anything, she just would not let me help her.
I talked to her, I pet her, i tried treats, which she did not want. Eventually i was able to get the mat out and wanted to trim her ears. i did not get to.
Will she settle down? How do I get her use to being groomed? She has to learn that it is vital . I know she felt a lot better , and she did not hold it against me.
It was her first real groom. Maybe I was expecting too much? the DVD's I have see and groomer s the dogs are all so nice and good !They stood there calmly ! NOT my dog .
What the hell did I do wrong?
