Cooper has been limping a little the last couple of days, so I made an appointment to take him to the vet to get checked. We went today and they did x-rays on his legs and hip. To my total devistation the vet showed me the x-ray, and his left hip joint is malformed. She said it was pretty bad, and by looking at the film I would have to agree. We are either looking at surjery to remove the joint or a full hip replacement. He is only 9 months and I am soooooo sad
. Of course we are going to do whatever is best for him, but the vet said that it was genetic. I am going to call the breeder we got him from, but not quite sure what to say. Any advice?
