Sunday evening, just as I settled in to watch the Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers, the kick off........ball in the air............NO ELECTRIC!!!!!!! We got hit with remnants of Ike. That was only the beginning. It was 10pm Tuesday before we got our electric restored. What was really frustrating, the homes across the alley got their electric back fairly quickly. I had to work both Monday and Tuesday. Monday wasn't bad but Tuesday my hair was a disaster. Anyway, last night I got to see Chloe......with her eyes open!!!!! What a sweetie pie. You will have to wait on pictures as the batteries for my camera needed recharged. There are people just down the street in the next block who still don't have electric. I'm very thankful for the nice hot shower this morning. I felt so good I didn't want to get out. Amazing how little things can excite us.
