WELCOME TO YT!!! As for your question, I've learned the answer is much debated and can be a heated topic. So, the answer is yes and no.
(Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!!) Look it up in the thread search and you'll see what I mean . Either way, I think they are gorgeous little bundles of fur and would love to be "owned" by one someday.
